Fitness Zumba classes
Fitness Zumba - is a fitness program consisting of dance movements from elements of such active dances as samba, hip-hop, salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, flamenco and others. Fitness Zumba workouts will allow you to:
- learn to dance beautifully in various styles and spectacular transitions between them;
- make your figure slim, athletic and fit;
- develop stretching, flexibility and joint mobility;
- increase physical performance and general tone of the body;
- improve coordination and motor skills;
- develop a sense of rhythm and plasticity of movements;

Our trainers conduct incendiary Fitness Zumba classes, after which there is a desire to constantly visit the Central Fitness Hub fitness club. And the result of such training will be visible not only in the mirror, but also on the dance floor to any music.

What is Fitness Zumba?
Fitness Zumba from the Colombian dialect of Spanish – means to buzz, hum, have fun, in general – ``come off''. Zumba classes are not built as classic sports workouts for performing sets of repetitive exercises, but more like incendiary dance parties. The philosophy of Zumba is that the practitioners never think about the problem - “I don’t want to go to this tiring workout, but I have to go,” but always think in the key - “I can’t wait for this exciting and fun Zumba occupation!”;.
But still Zumba – this is not dancing, but a completely full-fledged fitness, which is only built on simple dance movements from the arsenal of predominantly Latin American dances: cumbia, salsa, samba, merengue, reggaeton, and also ``western'' hip-hop, and others. The movements and techniques in the Fitness Zumba programs are not designed in the interests of beautiful choreography, but in such a way as to better work all the muscles of the body. The intensity of the musical fitness workout is such that it allows you to ``burn'' within 400 – 800 cal. energy.
Thus, the main focus of Fitness Zumba programs:
- losing weight;
- getting a beautiful, slim, toned figure;
- increased vitality.
For those who strive to get relief muscles and ``pump up'' large muscle mass, you should not rely on Zumba, but do any other kind of strength, functional fitness, or real sports.
How is Zumba fitness training going?
You can also do Zumba Fitness yourself at home, using certified video tutorials. But it is best to do this in a group (gym, outdoors) under the guidance of a certified trainer.
Every Zumba workout begins with warm-up and warm-up moves. The main part includes 6 – 8 different melodies of musical accompaniment, during which simple dance movements are performed at a musical tempo, combined in repetitive and alternating chords. The training ends with techniques and stretching movements.
The main attraction of Fitness Zumba workouts – precisely in their dancing incendiary cheerfulness, when, together with the training of physical conditions, the student simultaneously receives a charge of purely moral, aesthetic pleasure. Fitness Zumba is the complete opposite of boring strength or functional workouts in a sporty style.
Who is Fitness Zumba workout for?
To date, several varieties of Zumba Fitness programs have been developed, which are adapted for different categories of practitioners:
- Zumba Classic – base course;
- Zumba Toning – classes are carried out with additional manual dumbbell maracas, for better working out of the muscles of the arms and shoulder girdle;
- Zumba Step – with enhanced study of the muscles of the legs;
- Zumba Sentao – a chair is used as an additional projectile, techniques and movements are complicated for better working out of the muscles of the body, and stretching;
- Zumba Gold – program for the elderly, or those who are recovering from illness;
- Zumba Kids – version of the program for children 6 - 12 years old;
- Aqua Zumba – option adapted for training in water – pool or open water – which is suitable for those with diseases of the spine, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system.
Thus, we can safely say that at least one of the Zumba-style fitness programs is suitable for almost everyone, regardless of age and physical condition.
What is the frequency of Zumba training?
It has been experimentally established that the optimal duration of one lesson on Zumba Fitness – from one to one and a half hours. Exercising for longer can lead to overwork, which can lead to unwanted negative consequences.
Recommended frequency of 1 - 1.5 hour workouts for Zumba fitness – up to 3 – 4 lessons per week. If you do 30 – 40 minutes daily (which is typical for self-study at home), workouts can be carried out daily, in the morning (as physical exercise), or at any other convenient time.
Where did the "Fitness Zumba?" come from?
As often happens, it all started with an accident. Once Colombian professional dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez, a part-time fitness trainer, forgot to take with him the cassettes with the necessary music for training. And to remedy the situation, he took out cassettes with his favorite Latin American dance tunes from his car, and conducted the lesson impromptu, building it on the simplest, but still purely dance moves from the arsenal of Latin American dances. Trainees liked such an energetic fitness training very much, Alberto Perez worked for some time on adapting dance steps for the goals and objectives of fitness – and resulting in Zumba!
Since 2001, the Zumba dance fitness program has started its triumphant march around the world. Its inventor, together with other partners, founded Zumba Fitness LLC, which is dedicated to improving the program, supporting it and distributing it through the Zumba Instructor Network ZIN TM certified trainer network. Today, Fitness Zumba is rightly considered the most popular destination in the fitness industry today, with more than 15 million followers worldwide.
